From the phalanx emerged a single champion.

One by one the tribes fell silent as the warlord rose up, blue scales gleaming along his shoulders, horns swept back from his head. A hundred bright yellow banners stood beneath him, each marked with a great red hand. He stood upon a precipice and raised his arms.

'I am Azarr Kul, Son of the Blue Dragon!' The warlord bellowed. Tomorrow we march to war!' -Red Hand of DoomChapter #1: Witchwoodsby SgtWhy'Final'. NOTE.Be sure to remove ALL files from previous versions, before installing.(this includes your hak, override, campaigns and modules dirs)NOTE: Check to ensure there are NO files in your override directories.

None are needed for this module.Updated. July 5th, 2008.(some of this is in prep for chapter 2, plus bug fixes). combined the (2) levels of the starting INN. no longer drops party when leaving forest inn. added code to allow loading ch.2, if its present. LOOT was spotty before, updated and works well now. Much less 1gp loot.

WARKLE the Giant, now joins the party when you make him Friendly.AND he leaves when you head back to town, but offers to BARTER first. Most of the NPCs using basic PRR reactions. Including all store owners. re-organized all of the files under Campaign directory.BE SURE to DELETE any previous installs first! Or old files will be mixed with new ones and cause wierd over-write issues.HINT: When returning from Skull Gorge and speak with Norro at the townhall, SAVE GAME first. The end game is near.P.S. And it seems to scale well up to about level 7. By default you start at level 5 (if less) - but you can talk to the gnome at the forest Inn to change to any level you want.080420 updatebug fixes;-creatures will not agro while PC is in conversation-adjusted the DR from 4/- to 1/- of warehouse guardians. Fixed the above mentioned problems and restarted this campaign. There are still 8-10 mistakes, etc.

That I can probably fix.The plotted story is very linear with only a few choices as to how you choose to deal with companions and NPCs. I did not see any changes in the game resulting from a conversation choice unless you just decided to attack.Battle was mostly balanced on hard core, I did not have to reload at all.

Finished at level 8.Much of the loot is gear the party can use which is good as many events are triggered on entry to an area which limits the opportunity to hit the stores. First things first: the areas of this module look great and atmospheric, and it's obvious that the author loved what was creating. Maybe we have played this story 1000 times before, but it's OK and we all know that quite often story is only an excuse for putting things on the road, as in this case. So, in one word, this could have been a great first moduleof a great serie, but I think that what we have here is, once again, a 'Stockholm-adventure sindrome'. That is: author loves the adventure and characters that he/she has created and can't bear the idea that someone can overcome it and them. One clear symptom is that your companions have cooler equipment and habilities than you (one has two levels in assasin class being a level 5 rogue).

That´s the only explanation I can found for the insane difficulty of RHoD (Level 5 character? I don't know who has playtested this but I'm sure that he/she was not playing a warlock/wizard/rogue. Microsoft l2 basic optical mouse for mac. Even with all the tanks you can bring with you the third or fourth encounter will bash your party in a blink. Prepare for a lot of frustation an tears.

(I played with level 6 and game escalates, so it will be the 5th or 6th encounter the one that erases you from the face of Faerun).
